St. Martin Youth Training Centre
We are a group of teachers and students in all ages. Our school prepares young people for life through professional training in theory and practice of life coping skills, agriculture, tailoring and dressmaking, engine/general maintenance, typing and information technology, fiberglass production, masonry, plumbing, metalwork, woodwork, melting and more. We also have a school-preparing kindergarten and nursery for the smaller children which are often full or half orphans.
We teach the children in music and movement, language, environmental acts, language, creative art, learning-by-playing and more.
The students are also running a project about increasing the food production. This means, that each student is welcome to cultivate as much land as he or she can handle to produce food for their own use and sale. With the money from the sales, each student would be able to pay for their daily personal needs. This leads to a growth in self-esteem and responsibility.
Volunteers and people who are willing to work are always welcome! You will gain lots of new experiences here. See here..
